HLG Gives: Peach Festival
Harris gives each employee a full eight-hour day to complete volunteer work of their choosing. Harris Local Government (HLG) kicked off our summer of giving by sharing stories and photos of how we spent our volunteer hours.
Mark Briglio, HLG’s customer success manager, spent his volunteer hours at the 64th annual Niagara County Kiwanis Peach Festival, which typically raises between $50-70k for the local Kiwanis Club.
As chairman of the Kiwanis food tent, Mark helped sell peach short cake, burgers and fries, peach pops, and tickets for carnival rides. The peach festival includes entertainment for the entire family, including carnival rides, a parade, lots and lots of peach-themed treats, lives take entertainment and an annual 5k run.
Believe it or not, the team is already planning next year’s event, to be held September 7-10, 2023.
