Harris Local Government (HLG) is pleased to welcome Tracey Band as Vice President of Client Services for the County team. Tracey refers to herself as a “customer-centric leader” and brings with her a track record for delivering results in multiple industries.
Prior to joining HLG, Tracey led the support team at fellow Harris company, Advanced Utility Systems, since 2014. Among her many accomplishments, Tracey’s team delivered a new program, “Advanced Managed Services,” which helped understaffed customers stay current on their software. In addition, continuous improvement of processes, tools and workflows between departments resulted in consistent growth of recurring revenue for Advanced.
Tracey’s professional experience also includes leading Lexis Nexis’ Toronto-based second-level support team for their legal billing software. She’s also worked for the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, a not-for-profit, where she built a customer care program that was implemented across all provincial regional offices.
When she takes a break from her Harris projects and plans, Tracey spends time with her partner, Mike, or sends care packages to her children (Sam and Olivia) at University. Tracey enjoys hiking, skiing, kayaking, cycling and will run if she has to. She co-leads a group of women cyclists in the summer and in winter months can be found leading virtual rides on Zwift. Tracey lives north of Toronto, in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
